​​Hi, I’m Vicky – a writer and photographer based in England. Travel is my main focus, though I sometimes cover arts as well.

Previously an editor at a leading regional lifestyle magazine, I became freelance in 2021.

I am also an experienced copywriter, editor and proofreader (scroll down for details) and a fluent Spanish speaker, with an advanced-level certificate from Salamanca University.

Copywriting
A Journalism.co.uk-trained copywriter, I have written commercial content for many outlets: from publications such as National Geographic Traveller to destination marketing agencies like CT Consults and a range of art galleries, entertainment venues and restaurants.
 
Editing
Both within my freelance projects and former in-house editor role, I have edited a wide range of copy.  
 
Proofreading
My proofreading assignments have spanned books and articles to commercial content.
